Ok. I was watching a chinese movie (cantonese actually, but dubbed, T_T), and I felt asleep (on my chair).
I was dreaming. After a couple twists (just like any other dreams), somehow, I arrived at a wedding ceremony thingy of a Malay couple. I was just next to them, and they were doing the “I, xxx, promise to love and care for my wife, xxx, no matter… bla bla”, in mandarin.
I woke up soon after that, and I replay part of the movie which I missed, and gasp when I saw the wedding scene.
DAFUQ…. I was making up a scene in my dream, to fit the lines I was listening to (from the movie), in my dream………..
No excuses! :D
SUKAAAAAA XD ZHAA MIIII XD
HAHAHAHAHA PAK CHA BOOO! XD
Every single relay of information (may it be a hear-say, or a newspaper article, or a TV news report etc) ought to have a certain degree of distortion, which is often the case with people reporting about how rich Brunei is simply from the POV of GDP.
Still, I thought this feature done by a Taiwanese studio is actually quite accurate in their depiction of Brunei (please keep in mind that you need to allow some distortion, i.e. tolerance).
YenLu + my hat + a random alley in Dubrovnik, Croatia. :)
For those who noticed, yes, the motivation behind this shot was the contrasting scene of modern air-conditioners and the ancient architecture.
Took this from a roof terrace restaurant in the Jelma El-Fnaa Square, Marrakech. Almost SOOP (straight out of camera). Pumped the contrast slightly.. can’t help, hehe.
I had great expectation for this place, considering how it seems like it really might had been the Prince of Persia scene I had always been visualising (I was largely disappointed by The Old Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey), where I imagined abu (the monkey?) roaming around freely, jumping from one stall (selling jars fabricated from red clay) to another. Or meet some snake charmers, or maybe witness a camel auction?
Well it probably was, there’s pockets of scenes like that but I guess the pushy attitude of Moroccans was too much of a turn off for us, :S
Another Switzerland group photo.
This time it’s during lunch in a restaurant near to Duomo Square, Milan.
